Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Conduct thorough debriefs with drivers upon return from deliveries
  • Review and verify paperwork
  • Report and escalate and delivery issues, delays, or incidents
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and transport regulations
  • Update transport management systems with accurate data
  • Collaborate with dispatchers, planners and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Communicate professionally and confidently with customers via telephone and/or email

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

  • Have a working knowledge of Transport Legislation / WTD / Drivers hours.
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Integrity and professionalism displaying a positive “can do” attitude.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and follow instructions.
  • Time management skills are essential.
  • Being polite and courteous.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
  • A good level of numeracy and literacy accuracy is essential.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team as required.
