You will ensure all drivers are issued with correct delivery instructions and activities, de-brief drivers after every trip and deliver feedback to the appropriate department
To optimise all resources available
Working closely with the warehouse operations function ensuring seamless loading and dispatch procedure
Liaising with the planning team and provide information and recommendations where required
Provide constructive feedback to the driver management team on performance and behaviour of drivers
Ensure vehicles and trailers are kept within service schedules, booking all required maintenance and repairs with the relevant workshop
Utilise the administration procedures accurately and in a timely manner, including all KPI support information
Provide a first line of contact with stores in the event of schedule changes and daily issues
To provide an effective shift handover to the incoming team
To engage in a co-operative and positive culture within the Distribution Centre and the wider business
To support colleagues, Team Leaders and Transport Manager where required
