JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing logistics and ensuring the efficient movement of goods. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in IT applications, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. The Transport Planner will work closely with various stakeholders to optimise processes and improve overall transportation efficiency. This role is 3 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Experience in pallet network planning would be advantageous

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in logistics is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills.
• IT-savvy with a good understanding of transport management systems.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Develop and implement transport plans that meet customer requirements while optimising costs and efficiency.
• Manage logistics operations, including route planning, scheduling, and coordination of transport activities.
• Utilise software tools such as Excel and Word for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of all transport activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Foster a collaborative working environment.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to transport services in a timely manner.
