Job Purpose
The Transport Planner is responsible for designing, evaluating, and improving transport systems, routes, and strategies to ensure efficient, safe, and sustainable movement of people and goods. The role involves analyzing data, forecasting travel demand, coordinating with stakeholders, and developing policies or plans that support economic growth while reducing environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement transport strategies, policies, and plans to improve mobility and accessibility.
• Analyze traffic data, travel patterns, and demographic trends to forecast future transport demand.
• Design and optimize routes, schedules.
• Use transport modelling software
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, sustainability goals, and health and safety standards.
• Monitor and evaluate implemented projects to assess performance and recommend improvements.

• Experience with transport planning, traffic management.
• Proficiency in transport modelling and GIS software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
