Job Description We are currently seeking a Transport Planning Administrator to join our Transport team at our Telford site. As a Transport Planning Administrator you will gather data on vehicle collection performance at clients, and ensure all relevant departments are kept up to date with daily issues. Please note: this is a fixed term contract for 12 months. Working hours: Various daytime shifts, 07:00 - 19:00 Salary: £26,010 Job responsibilities of Transport Planning Administrator include: Proactively tracking vehicles and speaking to drivers to ensure collection timings are met. Ensure relevant internal departments are kept informed of any late vehicles. Building a good rapport with key clients by proactively communicating late running vehicles, and providing ETAs. Record arrival and departure times for all collections accurately, and publish results accordingly. Identifying trends and making recommendations when required Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel Qualifications As Transport Planning Administrator, you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications: Excellent administration skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a pressurised environment. Able to work using own initiative and with little supervision. Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word, Outlook (or equivalent). Previous experience of SAP & Kronos would be beneficial but not essential. Previous experience gained in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
