Overview:
We are seeking an organised person to take on our Transportation Supervisor position. You will be responsible for overseeing the transportation operation, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods. This is a key role requiring the ability to effectively communicate with customers and various departments .
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate transportation activities, including route planning, scheduling, and despatching of vehicles
- All departmental admin
- Monitor driver performance and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standard regulations
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, such as fuel usage, mileage, and delivery times
- Resolve any transportation-related issues or customer complaints in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to promote a safe working environment
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of drivers and provide feedback for improvement
Qualifications / Experience
- Ability to ‘think on your feet’ and deal with last minute issues / changes
- IT MS Word/Excel
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with drivers, customers, and co-workers
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally
As a Transportation Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation activities and customer service
