TRANSPORT SUPERVISOR (NIGHTS)

Location: Runcorn
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday – Nights
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in transport planning or supervision
• Strong understanding of UK transport legislation
• Confident using transport systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Organised, self-motivated, and calm under pressure

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and deploy vehicles effectively, ensuring route optimisation and cost efficiency
• Monitor driver schedules, ensuring legal compliance
• Respond to real-time issues, re-route journeys as needed
• Conduct driver briefings/debriefings and maintain clear communication
• Ensure smooth shift handovers and accurate reporting
• Liaise with Transport and Site Managers on vehicle status and ETAs
• Manage breakdowns and out-of-hours support
