We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transport Supervisor to join our client’s dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing efficient transport strategies that optimise the movement of goods and people. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure effective transport solutions.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in transport planning, logistics coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams, drivers, and customers effectively.
  • Proficiency in using transport planning software and tools as well as Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)
  • Proven Knowledge of Drivers Hours Legislation and Working Time Directive.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritise tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and allocate vehicle and driver resources to support efficient and time-critical service delivery.
  • Manage the day-to-day scheduling of deliveries.
  • Act as a key point of contact for emergency response requests.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate transportation and delivery records, delivery confirmations, and other relevant documentation.
  • Respond to internal and external queries with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Liaise effectively with Drivers, Operational Teams, and Clients.
  • Ensure Drivers are compliant with all regulations including Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive.
