Romac Logistics are currently recruiting for a Transport Supervisor to join our busy team in Northampton.
We are seeking a skilled Transport Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation activities, ensuring efficient delivery of goods, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and carriers.

EXPERIENCE

• Essential skills: Customer service, logistics, computer literacy.
• Desirable skills: IT, supply chain, proficiency in Word and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• A valid driving licence is preferred.

• Coordinate transportation activities, including scheduling and dispatching drivers.
• Monitor transportation costs and performance metrics to ensure efficiency.
• Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to coordinate deliveries.
• Utilise logistics software to track shipments and resolve any issues.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities.
