Responsibilities

YOUR NEW ROLE

Join our dynamic and skilled transport team as a Transport Supervisor, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the Northwest region of WA. We’re seeking a motivated professional with expertise in transport asset management, safety reporting, cost optimisation, and strong people leadership skills. This role offers a chance to lead with excellence, drive improvements, and contribute to the success of our operations. Opportunity for a 2-week on, 1-week off FIFO schedule if you are located outside the Port Hedland area.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Oversee the safe and efficient movement of materials to and from company and vendor sites, ensuring compliance with company policies and legislative requirements.
  • Plan and manage transport schedules, routes, and resources to achieve cost-effective and timely delivery, minimising downtime and maximising efficiency.
  • Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, ensuring all team members adhere to safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and follow compliance requirements, including Chain of Responsibility obligations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery. Implement innovative solutions to optimise transport efficiency and performance.
  • Maintain high standards of service by addressing customer needs, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring delivery schedules are met.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records related to transport activities, safety incidents, and compliance. Provide timely reports on operational performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee transport asset maintenance, ensuring reliability and arranging repairs as needed.
