TRANSPORT SUPERVISOR

Location: Rotherham
Reports To: Operations Manager
Shift: Monday-Friday Days/Afters Weekly Rotation

Role Overview: The Transport Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s transportation operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of goods. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role involves coordinating with various departments, managing a team of drivers and logistics personnel, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• Professional certifications such as the Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Road Haulage is required
• Proven experience in a transport management role within a logistics or distribution environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team and oversee complex transportation operations
