Job Description Transport Support Operator will provide general administration support to the Transport Department. Salary: £30,556.89 per annum. Shift: 4 on 4 off nights, 19.00-07.00 Key Duties of a Transport Support Operator: Correctly debriefing drivers. Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly. Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system. Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information. Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required. Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries. Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs. Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services. Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets. Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS). Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads. Qualifications Previous experience in a similar role. Attention to detail/ accuracy. Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information. Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure. Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines. Computer literate, particularly MS Office applications i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel or equivalent. Able to work as part of a team or individually.
