Contact our team of in-house Recruiters: 1-866-4-TRIMAC Pay Details Journeyman rate $53.91/Hr $1,000 monthly, Northern Living Allowance Schedule 1 week on, 1 week off 6:00pm to 6:00am (Night Shift) Job Details Safe and professional work practices are mandatory Demonstrated ability to read and understand written instructions and communications and write job reports, work order summaries, and other record-keeping functions Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, exercise good judgment and common sense and conduct him/herself professionally Able to perform duties in all weather conditions Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems (troubleshoot) Responsibilities Preventative maintenance on commercial trailers Ability to diagnose and fault trace complex systems /issues Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams Preventative maintenance on checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, electrical system, PMs, electrical work, brakes, suspension. Follow safe work procedures and use proper PPE Preventative maintenance on the trailer Follow safety and use of proper PPE Follow all relevant safety and compliance regulations, policies, procedures, and generally accepted work practices relating to tanker trailer shop operations Qualifications Red Seal is an asset. CVIP Certification is an asset. Two years verifiable mechanic experience. Operation of hand and air tools.
