What’s involved with this role:
You’ll provide strategic leadership for the Integrated Transport Unit — ensuring transport services are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with wider service provision. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure & Environmental Services, you’ll shape and deliver service plans that align with the division’s annual Business Plan and drive integrated, high-quality transport solutions across the organisation.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience leading transport or logistics services at a senior level.
  • Strong background in strategic planning and service improvement.

Pay rate: £28.56 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 37, Monday – Friday, normal working hours
This opening assignment is for 3 months
City: Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the strategic delivery of the Integrated Transport Unit.
  • Ensure the service meets performance, budgetary and efficiency targets.
  • Align transport service plans with the broader divisional Business Plan.
  • Promote integration across service areas to streamline provision.
