JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport and Waste Administrator to join our team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our transport and waste divisions, and involves both customer service and administrative responsibilities.
You will play a key part in supporting with skip bookings, weighbridge operations, invoicing across waste and transport, and handling day-to-day enquiries. If you thrive in a busy environment and enjoy being part of a friendly and efficient team, we’d love to hear from you.

SKILLS

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative or transport/waste environment is desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with weighbridge software is a plus
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities
  • Raise and process invoices for transport and waste services
  • Operate the weighbridge system accurately, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Run and create regular reports to support operational and management needs
  • Handle skip bookings via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
  • Carry out general administrative duties, including filing, archiving, and data entry
  • Providing helpful and accurate information when dealing with customer enquiries
  • Liaise with drivers, operations staff, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery
