In a constantly evolving retail environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Customer Service & Logistics team at Colgate. In this role, you will act as a key member of our Logistics team.
As the Transportation Analyst, you will be responsible for carrier metrics, analyzing freight cost data, crafting cost estimates and balancing the freight general ledger. You’ll work closely with our Third Party Logistics carrier partner, our distribution partner and our finance department. You’ll contribute in month end closing and budget preparation. You’ll also ensure that we have adequate accruals to cover all freight expenses based on carrier statements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 1 year of experience in logistics operations
• Strong analytical skills and proficient in SAP, Google Suite (in particular Google Sheets)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, Transportation or related field.
• Proven strong financial and business acumen.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proven track record of being a great teammate while also excelling in independent work.
• Dedication to continuous improvement and innovation.
