We are seeking a Transportation Analyst to support the transportation operations of the company. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of products from co-manufacturers to distribution centers and ultimately to customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining high service levels.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year in transportation and logistics operations experience
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to gather and manage large data sets
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, comfortable working with Microsoft Access and SQL databases.
  • Experience using TMS and ERP systems
  • Experience working with freight carriers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all shipment processes, including scheduling shipments, carrier selection, and tracking the movement of shipments
  • Conduct extensive analysis of supply chain data related to transportation; identifies opportunities for cost savings, KPI improvement, and forecasting transportation requirements
  • Provide ongoing reports and analysis on transportation operations to internal teams and management
  • Work closely with production facilities to understand production(s) scheduling and their impacts on transportation logistics
  • Lead carrier bid process including the development of RFPs, carrier selection, and negotiation of rates and contracts
  • Analyze and evaluate vendor proposals and recommend solutions based on these evaluations.
  • Coordinate and communicate with delivery teams for pickup and delivery appointments.
