Overview Hours Part Time Sunday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM Monday - Wednesday: 9:30am - 1:30pm Location: Village at Victory Lakes, 1075 E Victory Dr Lindenheurst, IL 60046 Position Summary In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of the residents of the campus in accordance with the Illinois Department of Transportation regulations and campus policies and procedures. This position assists the life enrichment and other departments in conducting programs, activities and outings for residents of the community. Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities Transport residents safely on outings, trips, doctor appointments and shuttles. Operate the wheelchair lift in a safe manner and ensure wheelchairs are secure prior to driving the vehicle. Ensure all community vehicles are clean, maintained, and fueled. Maintain the maintenance log for the vehicle. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after use. Assist with community events and activities as needed. Supervise residents in activities outside the community as needed. Ensure that all community vehicles have current registration and relevant safety/emissions testing. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates. Position Requirements Education: High School Diploma/GED Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License or Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) depending on the community vehicle’s requirements Experience: 1+ years of driving experience Skills & Abilities: The ability to patiently assist residents get on the vehicle and answer their questions as needed Travel: Consistent, local travel to transport residents Min USD $16.00/Hr. Max USD $18.50/Hr.
