Description Description Opening Date: 12/19/2025 Closing Date: 01/02/2026 Job Title: Transporter (On-call) Salary/Wage: $19.98/ per hour Tribal Level TL 108.1 Location: Siletz, Oregon Classification: On-call, Non/Exempt Job Posting Number: 3788699 INTRODUCTION: This position uses a software program to facilitate healthcare transport scheduling, record tracking, and driver deployment. This position will also be responsible for local transports. DUTIES: The purpose of this position is to ensure accurate scheduling of transportation for clients to health appointments. Clients of all ages will be eligible for service, depending on need. The position will coordinate driver’s daily client pick-up schedules, track trends for reporting within the software program and run quarterly reports. This position also ensures all drivers records are being turned in timely and relays message from the drivers to supervisor for vehicle maintenance. Trip checks before and after each transport conducted. Participate in Annual Transport Training. This position will support Community Health programming, responsibilities, and services when funding allows. Participates in emergency response during Community Health impacted events when funding allows. Requirements REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED and 6 months experience in an office setting or transportation certification. A valid Oregon driver’s license, insurance, good driving record and eligible to drive GSA vehicles. Knowledge of: Basic computer skills and understanding of different software programs. How to operate motor vehicles safely. Ability to: Ability to learn to Mediroutes transportation software. Ability to drive GSA. Perform the work of the position with minimal supervision. Keep vehicle neat and paperwork in order. Interpret instructions, directions, road maps, etc. Lift up to 40 pounds occasionally. Other: Must be reliable and dependable. First Aid and CPR card required or ability to acquire within 60-days of hire. Successfully complete New Transport Hiring Training within 10-day of hire. Must possess a valid Oregon State driver's license, insurance and be eligible to drive a GSA vehicle.

The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for scheduling transportation for clients to health appointments and coordinating drivers' daily schedules. They also track trends and ensure timely submission of driver records.
