We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating transportation operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in transportation coordination is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  Schedule: Monday to Friday
  Shift Timings: 9am to 5:30pm
  Expected Hours: 40hrs a week

• Coordinate and schedule transportation for shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues related to transportation logistics.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including shipping documents and invoices.
• Analyze transportation costs and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth loading and unloading processes.
• Assist in the development of transportation policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
