This is a one-year, full-time, paid Internship Program. The Transportation, Engineering & Operations (TE&O) Bureau within the Department of Environmental Services [https://www.arlingtonva.us/Government/Departments/DES] (DES) is seeking a motivated Transportation Data & Operations Intern to support transportation operations and safety initiatives that keep Arlington moving. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting day-to-day operational efforts, data-informed decision-making, and process improvements related to transportation systems, traffic safety, and field operations. Working under the mentorship of experienced professionals, the intern will assist with operational coordination, data collection and organization, analysis support, and special projects that contribute to safer, more efficient transportation infrastructure across the County.
