Description Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Transportation Driver to provide safe and timely transportation for patients. This position is responsible for picking patients up, transporting them to their appointments, and ensuring they are safely dropped off afterward. This position requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach to every interaction. Key Responsibilities: Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments. Assist patients with entering and exiting vehicles as needed. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of vehicles between transports. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and organizational policies. Communicate with professionalism, courtesy and cultural humility with patients, staff, and healthcare providers. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of trip logs, mileage, incident reports. Respond appropriately to emergencies, accidents, or unexpected situations. Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. Previous experience in a driving or transporting patients, seniors, or individuals with disabilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Compassionate and patient-focused attitude. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to travel between locations as needed. Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is a plus.
