Transportation Engineer 1, PN 20050567 What You Will Do: Design, maintain, and manage traffic signal and ITS projects and devices, coordinating with consultants and contractors to prepare and deliver to specifications and budget Utilize various specialized traffic analysis, ITS, and traffic signal software to monitor performance and troubleshoot issues Research new products and technology to enhance roadway safety and performance Develop efficiencies & insights with ITS asset (GIS) database while using the data found to make data-driven decisions Who we are looking for: Civil Engineer with co-op/intern experience in the transportation industry Interest in emerging technologies and making a difference to transportation in your community A self-motivated individual with interest in field and office work Team player who has strong written and verbal communication skills Benefits to you: Enjoy an excellent work/life balance Receive paid time off with vacation, sick and personal leave Receive 11 paid holidays per year.
