What you will do: Work with the Pavement Management System to identify the paving program over the planning horizon. Program projects in Ellis (Capital Program Management System) to account for the paving projects needed. Ensure the District Preservation Paving Program is Fiscally Constrained. Cost Estimation of pavement projects. Participate in Scope Meetings to provide guidance and direction. Perform Field Reviews. Coordination with County Operations and Construction to ensure questions/concerns are addressed. Lead the Urban Paving Program and Application process while working with the local communities of their needs. Plan & Permit Reviews to ensure standards and specs are met. Pavement Design for proposed projects and activities. Data analysis on historical trends, projections, and activities. Bachelor's degree in engineering; valid certificate as Engineer-In-Training issued or accepted as equivalent by Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors; 2 yrs. engineering related experience. -Or Valid certificate as Engineer-In-Training issued or accepted as equivalent by Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors; 12 mos. exp. as Transportation Engineer 1, 85641. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required, but not for the mandated registration.
