Transportation Engineer 3 - Test Lab, District 6- PN 20059701 What You Will Do: Oversee the district testing program and staff that perform the following duties: Sample, test, review, and authorize samples for which the project Engineer does not have the authority to approve. Provide advice to the construction staff concerning material requirements. Perform independent reviews of material certifications by project engineer using current guidelines for documentation of final quantities. Perform quality assurance reviews (QAR) on active construction projects to ensure compliance with material approval requirements.
