Transportation Engineer 4, Office of Transportation & Economic Development, PN 20065677 What You Will Do: You will lead the planning and oversight of Major Investments Program projects, including reviewing scopes for funding, approving designs, and signing engineering documents as a registered professional engineer. You will represent the Administrator in coordinating with FHWA, Districts, and Executive Leadership, serving as liaison and ensuring program activities align with strategic objectives. You will develop, revise, and enforce engineering policies and program guidance, staying current with industry advancements and conducting quality assurance reviews to ensure consistent standards across districts. You will manage project funding, scheduling, and performance, using ODOT’s project management system (Ellis) to monitor progress, authorize fund releases, and troubleshoot issues affecting project delivery.
