MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or related discipline. Professional engineering (PE) license. 12 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with roadway hydraulic design, including ditches, small pipe culverts, storm sewer systems, outfall analysis, and drainage investigations.
Experience with bridge and/or culvert hydraulic design over streams using the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) design guidelines, such as Hydraulic Design Series 5, 7, etc.
Experience designing and permitting stormwater systems for roadways including rural, urban, and limited access systems.
Experience using Microstation CADD and Geopak Drainage Software, HY8, HECRAS, HEC1 or HECHMS, ARCGIS.
Experience using OpenRoads Designer.
