Our team is currently engaged in several of the most impactful transportation projects currently under way in Toronto including GO Regional Express Rail, Peel Regional Transportation Model, Waterfront East LRT, Scarborough Subway Extension, Eglinton Crosstown West Extension (ECWE) and Finch West LRT, Transit Oriented Communities (ToC) and Major Transit Station Areas (MTSA). Excited about multiple upcoming projects focusing on major projects, rapid transit, and environmental assessments. We work across the full lifecycle, from feasibility and planning to craft and construction and in-service operational reviews. We are seeking a Transportation Engineer/Analyst to play a key role in the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension (ECWE) project and to support in developing and growing our team and capabilities in Canada. Work with clients, communicate through reports, presentations, mentor junior members, lead projects, pursue opportunities, lead engineering activities, take ownership for engineering work.
The initial term will be focused on the Elevated Guideway contract of ECWE but will evolve over time based on individual career goals, ambitions, ongoing projects, and emerging opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Completion of a degree in engineering or a related subject area or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent
  • P.Eng. with PEO or ability to obtain license with one year is considered as asset
  • 4+ years relevant professional experience including significant experience in the GTHA
  • Clear and persuasive communications in English including verbal, written, presentations, etc.
  • Understanding and application experience of transportation planning, traffic engineering, traffic signal design, traffic safety, intersection capacity analysis
  • Experience with Synchro
  • Experience with VISSIM, Aimsun, EMME is considered as asset.
  • Applied knowledge of published guidance from national (TAC/TC), provincial (MTO/OTM) and municipal (Cities, Regional Municipalities, etc.) governments and associations
  • Proven understanding of legislation and associated regulations that govern your work such as the Highway Traffic Act, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Environmental Assessment Act, Planning Act, Construction Act, etc.
