We are seeking an entry level Transportation Engineer to join our team in Tempe, AZ.

B&N entry level Transportation Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Participate in diverse projects from initial concept through final blueprints
  • Dive into roadway engineering calculations, analysis, and design work that directly impacts communities
  • Create construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates that bring projects to life
  • Conduct transportation studies that solve real mobility challenges
  • Work alongside seasoned engineers who genuinely want to mentor you
  • Build relationships with clients and community members while developing transportation solutions

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program; Fall 2025 graduates are encouraged to apply
  • EI/EIT registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • 0-2 years of related transportation design or study experience
  • Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, and excited to sharpen your abilities with industry-standard software including AutoCAD and Microstation
