Regional consulting firm looking to add a talented Transportation Engineer to their Chicago, Illinois area office! Responsibilities: Lead/manage technical design of various projects including urban/rural roadways, multi-use paths, park designs/developments Perform Office Manager duties for office including personnel/job assignments Responsible for client management and overall project performance metrics Review design plans for compliance with federal, state and local regulations Work with project manager to establish project scope, budget, timelines and designs Communicate/meet with municipal clients, including cities, utility companies and state agencies Mentor/train junior staff Requirements: B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering 5+ years of experience PE License Experience working in IDOT project development process, construction documentation and administration Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation Salary is commensurate with experience.
