As a Transportation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and implementing transportation systems that enhance mobility, safety, and sustainability in our communities. Design and develop transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways, intersections, and traffic control systems Utilize advanced traffic simulation software to model and evaluate transportation scenarios Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate transportation solutions with urban planning and development projects Prepare detailed engineering plans, reports, technical specifications, and project documentation Develop and implement traffic management strategies to improve safety and reduce congestion Participate in public meetings and stakeholder consultations to present transportation plans and gather feedback Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in transportation engineering Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering EIT required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year At least 6 years of experience in transportation engineering Proficiency in Civil3D and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD and/or MicroStation) Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, GIS software, and other data analytical tools Knowledge of basic Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning principles Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams Knowledge of traffic flow analysis, transportation planning and design, and traffic safety principles PTOE (Professional Traffic Operations Engineer) certification is a plus Additional Information Salary: Between $90k - $120k, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
