SUMMARY

Steere is seeking a civil engineer with 10+ years of highway/transportation engineering experience to join our Transportation Group and assist with the delivery of transportation projects throughout New England. The role will blend technical expertise with project management to a level commensurate to the successful candidate’s experience, qualifications, and motivation. The successful candidate shall be experienced in civil engineering and have the leadership and organizational skills necessary to lead and manage a team of engineers on various types of transportation projects.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of experience in civil highway/transportation engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Ability to manage projects from preliminary planning through completion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite products, and Bluebeam
  • RIDOT and MassDOT experience (preferred)
  • Experience in drainage/stormwater design (preferred)
  • PE license in Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts, or ability to obtain within 6 months
