JOB SUMMARY:

The Transportation In-Charge is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily transportation operations for employees traveling between labor camps and work sites. This role includes managing a team of drivers, ensuring vehicle readiness and compliance, maintaining punctual schedules, and supporting smooth workforce mobility in line with company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (diploma in logistics/transportation a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in a transport coordination or supervisory role.
  • Experience managing bus or van fleets and labor transport is preferred.
  • Knowledge of local traffic laws and vehicle maintenance practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using MS Excel, WhatsApp, or basic transport tracking apps.
  • Valid driver’s license is a must; bus driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate daily pick-up and drop-off schedules for employees.

  • Track fuel usage, mileage, and prepare transport-related reports.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and transport regulations.
  • Support the hiring, training, and onboarding of new drivers.
