WEAVE Industries-Warren Transport is looking for a Transportation Manager in RAPID CITY, SD!
The Division Manager is responsible for directing safe and efficient operations of the branch in alignment with company standards, goals, and objectives. In general, this includes maintaining all branch contracts, supervising, training, and coaching all branch personnel. The Division Manager shall also maintain a culture of safety by communicating and enforcing all driver safety policies. The Division Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with personnel at contract sites and working closely with customers to identify potential safety and service concerns. This position oversees scheduling and maintenance of all trucks and trailers, as well as scheduling of all hauls to meet customer needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Understands Hours of Service (HOS), DOT, MSHA, OSHA, and state and federal regulations governing operation of commercial vehicles and applies this knowledge in execution of daily duties.
• Possesses a working knowledge of the purpose, capability, and limitations of the equipment associated with the division.
• Receives and addresses calls from drivers/customers throughout the day and is required to share rotational schedule responsibilities that support all hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.
• Supervises, trains, and coaches’ direct reports to be safe and successful in their daily work.
• Participates in company strategies to reduce turnover and increase retention.
• Investigates and addresses all safety concerns as they relate to the division and its staff.
• Serves in a company driver capacity in emergency situations.
• Class A CDL Required; must meet company insurability requirements.
• Minimum five years of CDL trucking operations experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Company pickup provided as well as Semi-Annual Bonus available.
