Xpedient is a full-service 3rd party logistics provider. We have experience helping a diverse client base in warehousing services, transportation management, supply chain management, order fulfillment and labor needs.
The Transportation Manager will oversee all aspects of daily transportation operations across Canadian sites. This includes managing fleet and driver performance, coordinating with distribution center managers, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and handling operational issues proactively. This role is essential to maintaining service excellence, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring on-time delivery performance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of proven experience in transportation management.
  • Experience managing fleet operations, safety programs, and personnel.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex logistics challenges.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on process optimization
