General supervision over operational activities General Authority over daily functional operation Responsible for the fulfilment of frontline (Sales Channels) requirements of specific segment (PC, SUV, or CV) Vehicles through structured Demand Methodology, utilizing Run Down technique. The role involves periodical interaction with Operations & Sales Channels to executes Allocation/Supply of the vehicles in the ERP system considering Committed/ Firm/ Back Orders & Sales Targets, in line with healthiness of stock levels • Allocation (Plan and Execution) to enable segment sales target achievement • Operations (VLD/PIO) alignment towards priority vehicles readiness on weekly basis • All sales channels communication (elaborate more) • Observe products trend in each channel/region • Ensure products stock healthiness (aging, product/sfx mix, … etc.) 1. Responsible for data up keeping with 5S incorporated, related to demand, allocations, and stocks with the right balance among them 2. Harmonize with Sales Channels and Verticals on a regular basis to capture any shift in demand and corrections accordingly 3. Prepare monthly allocation/ supply plan for Shipments, & executes in coordination with Demand Head & Verticals 4. Maintain & Upload allocation plan & ratio to JSAP and convert Suggested Orders into Firm/ Committed Orders in the system 5. Ensure the special-order vehicles are allocated to the right Regions/Channels who placed that Order (not to any other locations), and keep tracking sheet 6. Propose monthly forecast for the Segment, twice monthly 7. Prepare and submit the Used Cars (ALJR UCD) deals for liquidation of Damaged & Aged vehicles, initiate & negotiate for best offers with UCD, before submitting for management approvals 8. Support Demands Head Occasionally in the monthly target setting of all segments / products 9. Prepare various executive reports and summaries as required by Top Management, Demand/ Supply MD, and Demand Head 10. Support Product PIC in the TMC order meeting (irrelevant role or elaborate more) 11. Participate / Support in various ad-hoc projects such as central region delivery / delivery lead time reduction 12. Responsible to receive, respond and act swiftly on queries related to demand and stock allocations, to fulfil frontline requirements 13. Develop strong communication with Verticals to improve their respective Products allocation and stock-mix through established feedback mechanism 14. Responsible for continuous interaction within Demand and Supply Team and share working methodology to enhance overall effectiveness (Yokoten) (what is YOKOTEN) 15. Develop strong communication with Vehicle Logistics (Supply Chain) so as to establish benchmarks for priority accessorizing (elaborate more) 16. Responsible for close communication with ALJR UCD & Products PICs to create a deal draft and suggest an initial offer with UCD 17. Monitor frontline demand closely and propose/ implement Kaizen points as and when required 18. Interaction with Corporate IT to suggest Kaizen in the ERP System (elaborate more) 19. Promote Kaizen Culture within Demand and Supply Chain and participate in National Kaizen Marathon • The job requires basic knowledge of Ordering, Capturing Market Demand and Allocations Techniques • The job requires basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services • The job requires product knowledge at Model-SFX-Color level • The job has direct impact over ensuring following • The job holder has direct impact over managing • The job holder has the freedom to select • The job holder has the freedom to update, review and develop • The job holder has the authority to approve/decline a vendor proposal • The job holder has a crucial strategic role in following • The job has a crucial supporting role in ensuring • The job holder has a strategic role in developing and monitoring the team while developing a succession plan within the department Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering is Preferred, alternatively IT & BA are second preference.
