POSITION SUMMARY:

Galaxy Freightline Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Transportation Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of our LTL (Less-than-Truckload) and FTL (Full-Truckload) freight operations. This leadership role is critical in ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective transportation services across our regional and cross-border operations.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of dispatching, fleet management, routing optimization, and transportation compliance, with strong operational and analytical capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5–10 years of progressive experience in transportation or freight operations.
• Proven leadership experience in a high-volume dispatch and fleet environment.
• Strong understanding of cross-border freight, LTL/FTL logistics, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in TMS platforms, ELD systems, and fleet tracking tools.
• Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, time management, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or a related field is preferred.

PREFERRED SKILLS & TOOLS:

• Experience with systems like Loadlink, Fleet Manager, Samsara, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of fuel surcharge structures and freight cost optimization.
• Familiarity with data tools such as Excel, CRM, or fleet analytics dashboards.
