We work with trucking fleets, owner-operators, and logistics businesses to provide custom insurance programs, risk management strategies, and DOT compliance solutions that keep operations protected and compliant. We are looking for a Transportation Risk Advisor who understands the trucking industry and can help clients secure the right insurance coverage while also identifying opportunities to cross-sell DOT compliance and safety services. What You'll Do Prospect and build relationships with trucking companies, owner-operators, and commercial auto fleets Evaluate transportation operations and recommend appropriate insurance programs Sell trucking insurance products including: Commercial Auto Liability Motor Truck Cargo Physical Damage General Liability Workers Compensation Umbrella / Excess Liability Identify opportunities to cross-sell DOT compliance services and safety programs Advise clients on risk management, compliance, and accident prevention Work with underwriters to secure competitive coverage Maintain strong client relationships and manage policy renewals Requirements What We're Looking For Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License Experience in commercial auto or trucking insurance preferred Understanding of DOT / FMCSA regulations and transportation risk Strong sales, networking, and relationship-building skills Ability to consult with business owners and fleet managers Compensation Base salary + commission Bonuses based on new business growth and client retention Opportunity to build a large book of trucking and commercial auto clients Clients You'll Work With Trucking companies Freight carriers Owner-operators Logistics companies Delivery and distribution fleets
