Description The Transportation Supervisor oversees the daily operations of FRS Transportation to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient public transportation services. This position supervises drivers and dispatch staff, coordinates daily operations, promotes excellent customer service, and ensures compliance with FTA, ODOT, ADA, and agency policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise drivers and dispatch staff and provide coaching, training, and performance feedback. Oversee daily transportation operations, scheduling, and route coverage. Coordinate driver coverage for absences and service disruptions. Monitor service quality, on-time performance, and customer satisfaction. Investigate accidents, incidents, and customer complaints. Ensure compliance with FTA, ODOT, ADA, and agency policies. Coordinate required training and FTA drug and alcohol testing for safety-sensitive employees. Work with the Maintenance Department to ensure vehicle availability and report maintenance concerns. Maintain operational records and assist with required reporting. Promote a safe, professional, and customer-focused work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Working Conditions This position includes both office and field work and may require occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, or after-hours response to operational issues. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Three years of transportation, dispatch, logistics, or supervisory experience preferred. Valid Ohio driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation scheduling software preferred.
