What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities): · Maintain primary responsibility for managing the fleet operations of a Sealy plant. · Areas of responsibility include: inbound and outbound freight costs, asset management, safety compliance, driver dispatch, ensuring compliance with company standards, customer satisfaction, and other transportation-related duties. · Use logistics software to budget for and reconcile miles, fuel receipts, work orders, etc. · Measure and report performance indicators to appropriate management as directed. · Manage driver payroll and ensure consistency with applicable labor agreements. · Maintain responsibility for fleet safety through inspections, planning and delivering trainings, and adherence to company policies. · Assist management with auditing the effectiveness of current procedures and policies and implementing corrections when needed. · Support and work as a liaison between the transportation team and the Sealy assembly plant team. · Perform other duties as assigned. Salary: 58K - 82K Qualifications What You’ll Need (Qualifications): · 4 years of experience in supply chain, transportation, or logistics management. · Experience with and understanding of FMCSA regulations.
