Transportation Technician 1 - PN20051931 - Ashland County What you will do: Primarily scope culvert and drainage projects. Scope other projects such as lighting, pruning, guardrail, and geotechnical. Conduct project field reviews as part of the scoping process. Create preliminary cost estimates and project schedules during scoping. Run scope meetings and coordinate scope sign-off and delivery. Review ADA curb ramp replacement needs and estimates for project scoping. Oversee annual tree cutting contract. Program projects and adjust funding and project schedules in Ellis (ODOT’s project management software). 5 yrs. engineering related technical experience in simple construction/ rehabilitation/maintenance projects or planning & design of simple civil engineering projects or materials testing, with experience to be commensurate with position to be filled.
