Description Join Our Team as a Transporter Location: Easley, SC Foothills Retirement Community is seeking a professional and compassionate Transporter/Driver with a current CDL to join our dedicated team on an as needed basis to transport our residents to off campus evening and weekend events. Outing times will vary but may range from 4p-8p, 5p-9p during evenings. Weekend times will also vary. Public Service Loan Forgiveness – As a nonprofit employer, PCSC employees can qualify for this federal program Additional perks – Meals at a reduced price, Employee Educational Assistance and a Referral bonus program Transporter Key Responsibilities: Timely and safe transporting of residents to various individual and group activities including scheduled trips and medical appointments Prioritize times and needs to accommodate the greatest number of residents Update and maintain the schedule list regularly Assist with resident's needs when required or as directed Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle, and completes a safety check of the vehicles before transporting residents Transporter Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Valid South Carolina's driver's license void of violations Valid CDL - Ability to drive a 14 passenger activity van 1 year experience working with Senior adults Transporter Preferred Qualifications: CPR certification 2 years’ experience of providing transportation to vulnerable populations.
