Job Description: The Transporter provides safe, reliable, and courteous transportation to patients throughout the medical complex. The employee will receive training and must demonstrate competency in moving of patients, including neonatal, pediatric (birth - 11 years), adolescents (12 - 17 years), adults (18 - 65 years), and geriatric (66 years and older). The Transporter must be knowledgeable of department/hospital policies and procedures. They will guide their own professional growth and continuing education.
