Overview Patient Transport contributes to patient care by moving patients throughout the UPH-DM via wheelchair, stretcher, bed or other appropriate means. Transport team will respond to and help with all emergent situations in the hospital setting, including but not limited to Medical Emergencies (CODE BLUE), Stroke Alerts, and Emergency Room situations such as Trauma Level I and Level II. Responsibilities CPR Certified (BLS) and responds to “CODE Blue” Medical Emergency to move patient and perform CPR if needed during the code. Practices will reflect Safe Patient Handling standards. Receives all trips via EPIC or live dispatch and handles according to departmental process. Maintain a clean and orderly environment. Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule. Qualifications Experience: 6 months of customer service required
