This is an Hourly position. Overview This job is located in Peoria,IL 5-8 hour shifts (8a-430p) Monday-Friday POSITION SUMMARY: ​Performs duties of the Trauma Registrar by identifying, abstracting, reviewing information and completing records related to patients diagnosed with or treated for traumatic injury at Medical Center. Assists in managing the Trauma Registry function at the Medical Center. Ensures Trauma Registry meets and maintains requirements for certification. Prepares data for research projects and submits same to various agencies and medical associations. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School/GED Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of Electronic Health Records and medical terminology.
