Description: Maintain excellent client relationships with assigned accounts/markets for Jonview’s Scheduled Business. Manage the designated client accounts which include qualifying and following-up sales leads, assisting with client product selection, and sending pricing and product information.

Position Requirements:

  • College diploma (Hospitality and Tourism or equivalent)
  • Effective oral & written communication in English and Japanese is a must.
  • Effective oral & written communication in Portuguese, Spanish, French, and/or German is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Canadian tourism product and Canadian geography
  • Excellent organizational skills

Responsibilities
  • Manage designated client accounts: responsible and accountable for Wholesaler communication directed to the Sales area from internal and external sources.
  • Keep up to date on Jonview product offerings and make recommendations to clients. Provide support to clients for annual/bi-annual product selection and follow-up.
  • Cross-sell products to clients to ensure products already set up and contracted are utilized.
  • Proof client contracts, brochures, and operational procedures. Validate final content according to the contract negotiated.
  • Analyze client brochures/product selection. Discuss any major changes to product selection with Sales Representatives and advise of competitor products published by the client.
  • Prepare and send out key client statistics, extract sales-related statistics and prepare comparisons.
  • Provide product training and Jonview Reservations systems training to clients.
  • Attend client meetings either locally or abroad if required – this may involve attendance at office meetings, dinners, tradeshows, and sales/FAM trips.
  • Tradeshow follow-up: complete sales reports/action follow-up items.
  • Action and follow-up client issues/information and problem-solve with reservations, contracting, accounting, MIS, and sales managers.
