AAA Hudson Valley provides exceptional travel planning, financial services, and emergency roadside assistance. We provide our services in Albany, Rensselaer, Columbia and Greene Counties.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10 years of experience in the field
  • Knowledge of principals & procedures for Travel Agency
  • Knowledge of Airline Systems & Hospitality industry business practices
  • Ability to generate new leads and achieve sales goals
  • Flexible to work into the early evenings and some weekends for events
  • Strong customer service, basic travel accounting, good organizational skills, and computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the telephone, and via email
  • Knowledge of US and global geography
  • Ability to perform internet research on travel destinations
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

-Ensure staff are trained and certified
- Monitor staffing needs - including vacation, families & business trips
- Explore & Develop new programs to enhance growth and image of AAA Travel
Agency
- Lead & assist in development of travel promotions
- Plan & implement staff training
- Formulate plans to extend sales to established accounts and in soliciting new
accounts
- Meet with vendors who call to advise of new programs or services
- Direct and manage Travel Agents
