We currently have an opportunity for a Travel & Expense Administrator. Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in managing the end-to-end travel and expense process. Reporting to the Team Leader – Finance Manager, you’ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
This is a permanent, part-time position working 22.8 hours per week, flexible over 3 to 5 days, and the role can be based in Canberra, Sydney or New Zealand.

Responsibilities

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Manage end-to-end travel bookings and maintain systems to track all travel activity, ensuring timely and accurate arrangements.
  • Reconcile travel claims daily and prepare detailed client invoices in compliance with company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to streamline travel and expense processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all travel and expense-related queries, ensuring efficient resolution and support.Continuously review and improve travel and expense processes to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
