Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,371–$1,448 per week - Guaranteed hours: 35 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 08:00–16:30 - Start date: 07/13/2026 - Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (inpatient rehab) Responsibilities - Provide skilled OT services to inpatient rehab patients, including evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions aimed at improving functional mobility and independence. - Implement evidence-based OT interventions to address activities of daily living, cognition, motor function, and safety. - Monitor patient progress, document sessions, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. - Communicate with physicians, nurses, PTs, and SLPs to coordinate care and ensure consistency of goals. - Contribute to discharge planning, caregiver education, and bed-to-home transitions with appropriate safety guidance. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record, adhering to regulatory and facility policies. - Support ongoing quality improvement efforts and participate in care planning meetings as required. - Ensure infection control, safety standards, and patient-centered care throughout the therapeutic process. Requirements - Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license/certification, eligible to practice in the applicable jurisdiction. - Experience in inpatient rehab or skilled nursing settings is preferred. - Ability to work the assigned shift and meet guaranteed weekly hours. - Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with an interdisciplinary team. - Demonstrated ability to document clearly and maintain accurate patient records. - Ability to perform therapy in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment and adapt to a busy clinical setting.
