Description Purple Cow is seeking a reliable and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a respected acute care team in Oregon City, OR. This is a 13-week travel contract with a day shift schedule and strong interdisciplinary support. Candidates should have experience in adult med/surg care and be comfortable in a high-acuity setting. Position Details: Location: Oregon City, OR Contract Length: 13 weeks Profession: CNA / Nurse Assistant Specialty: Medical Surgical Unit: Med/Surg Shift: Day – 3x12-Hour (07:00 – 19:00) Charting System: Epic Patient Ratios: Day Shift – 1:10 Compensation Package: Total Weekly Pay: $1,102.00 (based on 36 hours/week) Weekly Travel Stipend: $490.00 Weekly Taxable Pay: $612.00 Regular Hourly Rate: $17.00 Overtime Rate: $25.50 Requirements Active CNA certification (OR license required) BLS certification Minimum 9 months of recent CNA experience Experience with Epic EMR preferred Previous charge experience preferred Travel experience not required Weekend coverage required (every other) On-call possible if overstaffed Skills & Responsibilities: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) Vital signs monitoring, glucose testing, safe patient transfers Infection control & PPE protocols Communicate changes in patient condition Care for adult and geriatric patients in a 50-bed Med/Surg unit
